Phi Kappa Theta is a very unique fraternity in it of itself, and when you add the Brotherhood that stems from the gentlemen of our chapter, Phi Kappa Theta becomes a very special place.
Our Fraternity was founded on Catholic roots and based upon four ideals, Fraternal, Intellectual, Social and Spiritual. Today these same ideals have tested the trials of time and has survived on the Purdue Campus for almost 100 years.
Although our Fraternity was founded on Catholic roots, we are known across the country as being one of the most diverse fraternities. We fit no particular "mold", as some fraternal stereotypes might suggest. We are diverse in many ways and interests which makes the Brotherhood so much more gratifying.
Along with the intangible benefits of joining Phi Kappa Theta, there are also many tangible ones. We as a Fraternity participate in almost every sport and philanthropy every year. We also host many social functions such as semi-formal, football buddies with the Ann Tweedales(Women's Co-op), etc. Along with outside functions, we also host Brotherhood events such as Quo Vadis, paintballing, and much more.
Other tangible benefits include own room w/ personal heating/cooling unit, freedom to customize your own room, lunch and dinner provided by Chefspectations, own kitchen(usable almost any time), own pool, among numerous others.
If you have any questions/comments/concern about joining, please feel free to contact our rush chairman Seth McAnespie - (740)475-7707 or smcanesp@purdue.edu, or our chapter president Mike Conran - (765)491-8775 or mconran@purdue.edu
